on the inevitability of ai voting advisors
I just realized something weird and inevitable: each of our personally trained AIs evaluating political candidates and advising us on who to vote for based on our stated preferences and values.
what does this mean?
for one, candidates will start appealing to "us" in ways that appeal to AI, .md and llms.txt files being more important than websites and even social media
but will this lock us into place by default? There's an iterative growth cycle between voters and politicians that happens that allows each to grow and change, and the personalized recommender bot interrupts this and reifies each voted. That said, the iterative cycle is not always good.
