The American public is being asked to trust politicians, intelligence agencies, media personalities, pharmaceutical authorities, and technology companies that too often expect scrutiny to stop where their own interests begin.
That is the real problem. Government surveillance threatens privacy when oversight fails, political money creates opportunities for influence, foreign financial allegations demand hard evidence, and wars deserve an honest accounting of their human and financial costs.
Vaccine claims must survive scientific examination, privacy companies must prove their promises, and officials responsible for security failures must answer for their decisions. But skepticism means nothing if people blindly accept every accusation that confirms their politics while dismissing evidence that challenges them. A dramatic interview is not proof, an adverse event report is not proof of causation, and a suspicious financial relationship is not automatically a crime.
The public deserves better than propaganda from either side, convenient excuses from powerful people, and fear based advertising designed to sell products. Demand the records, follow the money, question the official story, and challenge the alternative story just as aggressively.
Nobody deserves a free pass because of their political party, job title, audience size, or carefully crafted public image.
Truth does not owe loyalty to anyone, and accountability without evidence is just another form of manipulation.
