About
UpTrust ranks content by trust between people instead of engagement. The posts you see first are the ones people you trust find credible and useful, not the ones that got the most clicks.
Every vote is a trust signal. When you upvote something, you are saying it is credible and useful. Reputation grows from the quality of what you share, as judged by the people who read it, not from follower counts or credentials.
There is no global score. Two people can look at the same post and see different rankings, because they trust different people. No central team decides what counts as trustworthy. The system computes what is trustworthy from where you stand.
Content that earns respect from people who normally disagree scores higher. Pure echo-chamber content scores zero. That rewards finding common ground, so honest engagement across viewpoints rises instead of outrage.
UpTrust is a public benefit corporation. Its stated public benefit is the advancement of high-quality public dialogue, through technology that supports trustworthy conversations and strengthens information integrity. It was founded by Jordan Myska Allen.
