Hello,
My passions are enjoying and protecting nature, reading fiction and nonfiction. Currently I'm re-reading The Hobbit some 45 years after the initial read, and also a book by Buddhist nun, Pema Chodron, and another, Dying Well. I am a volunteer for a local hospice in the Nashville area, so I try to stay informed.
Who do I love? In the big world, Vandana Shiva first comes to mind. Many of the real life heroes are mindful people working to move away from being part of an extraction species to a regenerative. These people and those working to bring humans together as a cooperative species versus combative l would be the real heroes of our time.
Questions I don't know how to answer would be quite a list. I'm learning right now that some questions I used to have aren't that important in the scheme of things.
I'm originally from the Atlanta area. I have two we wonderful adult children, as well as a partner of 26:years. I was laid off from a very large IT firm 2.5 years ago, and I spend my retirement walking our dog at parks and volunteering. I'm also what's known as an experiencer, that is someone who interacts regularly with anomalous beings.
