Hi.  I’m a passionate progressive, desperate to stop the damage being done by this administration, by helping to create the biggest Blue Wave possible in the upcoming midterm elections.  I suspect that the right wing, including the Republicans and other allies with unlimited funding will be doing everything they possibly can to steal these elections, through voter suppression and actual vote manipulation (cheating) that they are preparing for but that we will be blind to.  So I believe that our only realistic hope lies in massive voter turnout that overwhelms their ability to cheat.  What makes this task even more difficult is that they have virtually total control over the media through their corporate ownership, and they are willing to manipulate the news for their benefit.  It’s going to take a lot of social action, in the streets and in social media platforms like this to get around the obstacles they have put in place.
