Literary Fiction (Thoughts and discussion)

Literary fiction is a category of fiction that focuses on style, character depth, and thematic exploration rather than plot-driven, fast-paced narratives. These works are often considered "serious art," designed to explore the human condition, featuring complex, often flawed characters, and using high-quality, thoughtful, or experimental language. That being said... Literary Fiction doesn't have to have been written 50+ years ago. It can be contemporary and you often find it in current Pulitzer or Booker prized awards. I'd even go so far as to say that if you consider it Literary Fiction, then it very well may be. Discuss your favorites or what you're currently reading.
