When microwaves came out, I was a divorced mom, 9 kids and no help from my X so i never used one. Wait! I am not complaining. Those struggles helped me grow. I digress. The microwave has ruined our Country. Touted as a convenience yet it has stolen the essence of morality, empathy, consideration, work ethic etc from our people. Today its all about me, me, me, I want it NOW and wait til im done then cook your own. When we didnt have microwaves, people cooked for others, understood that anything good comes with patience, time, and work and generally speaking, families ate together, which opened pathways to companionship and sharing, one one one conversations while stirring the pot, or making the gravy, and made us able to consider others'likes,tastes, hunger etc
Microwaves promote the me me me cultures, inconsideration and impatience in our society today. You can only cook one instant dinner at a time and you dont gotta care if brother dear doesnt like meatloaf let him heat his own dinner up. Everyone's meal is done at different times so no time for communication and hey I can eat in 2 minutes. Sorry about your bad luck.
