After multiple SUV collisions while sitting at red lights in Florida, I have spent almost the past three years navigating medical monopoly pain, treatment, and recovery challenges in a fragmented system. I’m now deemed fully disabled “self pay” On my own I started focusing on the Pelvis Routine etc etc from Dr. Kevin Reese’s “Muscles Move Bones.”
The pelvis is the foundation of the musculoskeletal system sorta like an overview of a vehicle frame.
After these recent collisions and years navigating legal, insurance, and healthcare systems, I was reminded how important posture, alignment, movement, and function are to recovery. My concern is that too many injured victims are routed into medical monopoly PCPs, off site specialists, procedures, injections, and even surgery before tossed into medical prison before receiving a comprehensive head-to-toe functional assessment.
The body works as an interconnected system. Recovery should focus on restoring posture, function, mobility, and quality of life—not just treating symptoms one body part at a time.
Why aren't more injury victims receiving comprehensive posture and functional assessments before entering years of fragmented recovery processes?
