opinions on deltarune chapter 5 have been divided, but i think it is my favorite chapter. i might be biased because i'm personally so enamored by the way it plays with gender, but i also think it successfully conveyed the feeling of leaning into escapism while something ominous brews just out of sight. changing up the gameplay so much was a big risk that paid off in my opinion.
