It seems to me, that as a nation, we are continuously looking for a savior. I wonder if it stems from childhood and all the fairy tales we consumed; i.e. Snow White, Cinderella, Bambi etc. As parents, did ours program us to actively seek someone to save us from whatever befalls us, disrupts our lives, any difficulties we have to struggle to surpass? I'm sure that wasn't their intention, but now I wonder if it was a intrinsic cog in some long planned scheme to control the world. Lmbo.
Case in point: I keep hearing folks say "come mid terms when the democrats flip Congress", or "as soon as the Democrats have the majority" etc like ALL we need is the democrats and every thing will become right, normal. But, what every one is forgetting,is the reason our Republic is in this perilous moment is because we were fed up with the democrats, all the radical woke crap, high food prices, the political cosplay etc. So fed up, we ignored all the reasons Trump was voted out in 2020, looked past his power grabbing in his first term, WHY he was impeached etc to RE ELECT him anyway.
What happened to due diligently researching candidates, looking past what was shown to us and digging deeper, so we could ensure we were making well informed decisions?
