I’m an old hippie who was there in the 60’s/70’s. It was a beautiful time except for the war in Vietnam. Visited there years later and a sweet little Vietnamese lady who spoke no English took my hand and said, quite earnestly “Vote for John McCain”. Talk about a full circle moment. I saw The Beatles in concert in 1965. I worked for years as a professional cornhusk Dollmaker, and one of my dolls in the National Collection at The Smithsonian. I believe in peace and love. I believe we are all more alike than we’re different. I believe our precious planet is being destroyed by the wealthy who don’t care about the future. Wanna talk?
