So...most folks, when they put their "hand on their heart" to express sincerity, or "take a pledge", or express patriotism, or whatever, use their right hand because they can fold it over their chest and rest it above where their heart is. But what about those folks whose hearts are on the right? About 1 in every 12,000 people's hearts are on the Right-hand side of their bodies, due to dextrocardia, or situs inversus totalis... Should they put their right hand over their left lung so they don't spoil the photo? Or their left hand over their heart to show they are sincere?
It's a genuine concern for those of us whose hearts are in the 'wrong place'!
