Lloyd Pye (1946 to 2013) was an American writer. He argued that humans were not the product of Darwinian evolution. He called his view Intervention Theory. In that view, beings known as the Anunnaki genetically engineered modern humans. He based most of this on Zecharia Sitchin’s reading of Sumerian and later Mesopotamian texts, plus arguments about chromosomes, fossils, mitochondrial DNA, Nibiru, and later myths.
