Reporting and safety
- You can now report a post, comment, or profile from its menu, on the web and in the iOS app. Reports land in a moderation queue we act on within 24 hours.
- Posts, comments, and channel messages are screened when you write or edit them against a short list of slurs that have no place here. Anything that depends on context goes through report and review instead, where a person decides.
Bug fixes
- Posting on the wall of a private or invite-only event works again. Guests can reply, open a post's link, and see the reply list, and those posts stay out of public feeds and announcements.
- A group page now shows every post in the group, not just the ones you have not read yet. Before this, a member who was caught up saw an empty group.
- Verification, notification, digest, and invitation emails had been failing to send since mid July. That is fixed. A failed send now also retries instead of being dropped, so mail queued during a short outage goes out once the problem clears.
Hey Wait
- Transcripts of the launch conversations are publishing one per day. Eight are live so far, and each row on the series page now shows a read time next to the recording.
Using your personal AI assistant
- A connected assistant can now ask UpTrust what questions it can answer for you, and its questions route automatically to the right trust graph, including federated ones like sci-trust.
- Assistants can attach a header image when they create an event for you.
Mobile
The iOS app is back in App Store review with the reporting and screening features above, plus a terms agreement at signup. Existing accounts are not interrupted; only new signups see it.
