I think there are some examples of this, like lin manuel miranda's "Hamilton," which frames hard-work, intelligence, spunk, ambition as American values that drive the greatness of our nation, as qualities of immigrants, for example. And does so in rap—showcasing uniquely american music. But it's just one example, not a coherent thesis (it's not supposed to).
