These car companies and the clowns in charge are straight up turning your ride into a rolling spy box that rats you out every mile.
People are pulling fuses and ripping units because they are sick of being watched like criminals in their own damn vehicle. The right to fix your own stuff is under attack because if you can work on it you can kill the tracking and the subscriptions they want to charge you for heated seats or whatever.
Ford’s CEO whines that it’s too complicated and dangerous for regular people to touch their cars.
