I've been doing a bit of digging, researching and after the data I have found, I'm left wondering, WTHeck! Why do we keep voting Republican. And I say WE because I'm a Registered Republican. Here's what I've found:
10 of the 11 U.S. recessions between 1953 and 2020 began under Republican presidents.Seriously. WHAT?! Then I was Curious and thought ok, but Republicans have added more jobs, right? NO!
Since Truman, the total job creation by the 7 Democrat presidents has been about 70.5 million compared to the 6 Republican Presidents that only added 29.1 million total jobs. Lets break it down even further. Month over Month.
Democrats have held office 429 months and there have been an average of 164, 000 jobs created each month. Whereas Republicans have held office 475 months and only added about 61,000 new jobs per month . Thats just the job sector. And dont get me started on the
U.S. unemployment rate, which has risen more on average under Republican presidents, while it has fallen on average under Democrat Presidents.
Why do we keep setting our nation, ourselves up to fail, by continuing to vote Republican, we just end up losing.? Do we have some kind of weird need to see how far we can sink?
