Those of us in the USA have had great ideals for 250 years now, and have fallen short far too often. It still blows my mind how widespread sex slavery and human trafficking is. What can we do about it? how do we stop it? I've been a supporter of Polaris Project for a few years now, and they've had some criticism, but there are others like Our Rescue that have even more controversy. (btw what do y'all know about these orgs, or any others?)
I think it's a complex, international problem with many moving pieces; but I know one of them is that it's psychologically hard to face so I want to face it.
What do you think we can do to change things?
