ICYMI🚨: Yesterday, Senate Chairman Rand Paul subpoenaed Anthony Fauci to testify publicly in July after Fauci backed out of a prior voluntary agreement to appear.
At issue: a July 2020 email in which Fauci told his Chief of Staff "please delete this e-mail after you read it" — directly contradicting his 2024 sworn House testimony that he never deleted federal records.
Paul's committee already holds a formal whistleblower transcript from a May hearing on COVID cover-up allegations. The July appearance puts Fauci on the record next.
