This week was mostly updates and testing for big features forthcoming:
- Real-time chat is coming; we're testing direct messaging with instant delivery
- Real-time inbox your notification badge now updates live without refreshing
- Redesigned Discover page (this is still an easter egg, lots of kinks to work out)
- Events are now fully launched — capacity limits, email reminders, clone events, and the event wall stays separate from your main feed; more improvements coming shortly
- Welcome quest improvements
- Topic trust badges replace old vote scores on content, ensuring you see scores on all content
- Public group pages — anonymous visitors can now see public group detail pages
- Visual polish across avatars, login, dark mode, mobile layouts, typography, etc
- Group invite emails — you can now get notified when someone invites you to a group and/or responds to your invite
