We don’t hear enough activists fighting for homeless veterans — even though more than 40,000 of them are living without stable housing in the country they once wrote a blank check for. Many struggle with PTSD, chronic health issues, and a system that’s too slow to catch them when they fall. These men and women were trained to stand proud, to trust their nation, and to serve without hesitation. But that trust has been broken.
They deserve more than sympathy — they deserve action. They deserve a country that gives them the strength, support, and stability to stand tall again. To fight not on foreign soil, but for their right to live safely, freely, and with dignity in the nation they defended.
