My idea for a dock pond, planters, and stream. 

Pond → Aquaponic Planters → Filter Box → Stream → Pond

So:

• Pump pulls water from pond, pushes it up to the planters

• Planters use the nutrients (duck waste), collection tray drains into filter box

• Filter box polishes the water — mechanical then biological then chemical
