Is the republican representation of amber healthy amber

I’ve heard it said in these parts that the green of the democratic party is unhealthy. I’m curious about that, but more so, with all the recent changes in the republican party as influenced by Donald Trump, representing a major shift away from previous republican values, are they still healthy?
