When we think that duality is representative of our experience in the world, many assumptions come along with that like the actual rightness or wrongness of some people, positions, or practices. This also give us the sense that we can make the world better by reinforcing rightness and squashing wrongness. The challenge is that no two people agree 100% what goes in each category, making agreement to any stated standard a bit dicey.
But if I start with the premise that Love, as a divine appreciation of all of existence, and which has no opposite, is a foundational basis for my epistimology, then IS and OUGHT actually are just co-arising orientations to the full flow of life. This impact of this re-framing of the base assumption is subtle at first, but increasingly profound as I delve deeper.
Any experience of rightness or wrongness is actually an invitation to relate more deeply.
