New to leadership

If you are old enough to remember the Seinfeld show, you may remember the episode where George Castanza needs to read a complicated book, but he’s addicted to audio books to make it interesting.

We’ve entered a new era with NotebookLM from Google. I was curious about this tool, and realized I had a perfect test case. I moved to Boulder, Colorado to work with Patty Beach on building an app for Alignment, based on her book:

https://www.amazon.com/Art-Alignment-Practical-Inclusive-Leadership/dp/1544516711

Alignment might seem like a simple concept, but it actually takes quite a bit of experience navigating nuance to achieve in a team of diverse people.

I’ve tried to explain why it’s tricky, and why this process can make a huge difference in people getting out of their own way when attempting to collaborate. So I uploaded a PDF copy of the book to NotebookLM and hit generate podcast and 10 minutes later, I have a 20 minute podcast that has done a better job than I ever could have. Check it out:

(I sent to podcast to Patty, and she was also blown away).
