Agreed. And there are countries where government ‘works’ effectively for the people. There are people in the USA focused on ‘fixing’ or evolving us to what is sometimes labeled ‘mature democracy. (Defined as fully informed participatory democracy.... - onI keep coming up against people who don't understand that there were 75 some million people who voted for what's happening in America & in the world right now. My fellow progressives & people on the left have become a bit too angry at all of them, as if millions of people are just going to disappear once things are being run rationally again. We can't hate all of them. I suspect there's at least 20 million wives who had to vote for Trump or else & are probably brainwashed to some extent or another. There's another 25 million who just go along with what everybody around them is doing & never had an original thought in their lives. It actually is beyond me. How have we as a society allowed so few to have so much and so many to have nothing? I am 61. I am truly failing in every aspect. My health. My relationships. My finances. My sanity. Every moment is a struggle. I am suffering. Greatly. I think that not-knowing is mostly what we are now. Even if I try to keep up daily with reading the news, commentaries, and political journalists, I know I'm not privvy to most inside political information, and likely wouldn't understand it if I was....
