On the topic of patriotism... and whether Lee Greenwood can still bring a tear to your eye. On the cusp of our Nation's 250th birthday... The following was my response to a $hit-poster in my town Facebook group....... I love the USA
I love the USA and I'm grateful I was born and live here.

Very well said. Your reply reflects my own thoughts. I want our country to be run again by patriots and not corporate moguls interested only in making themselves and close friends richer by their positions of power.... - Sassiebrat67...
Yes. People have forgotten, or take for granted all the blessings of what being AMERICAN is. Sad. Now I fear its too late.

We the People have the power to change our nation. We r the only ones in the world who have that power. It is written in our constitution.

Not a lie. An opinion of a patriotic upper middle class citizen. Perhaps a rose colored glasses viewpoint but ZERO INTENTION of deception...

I agree with you sir. The notion of sovereignty is inherently connected to the land generations have lived and died on or for. Global predatory groups like say "London bankers" prey on (weak) governments. Who fold under the pressure of bribes and empty promises.... - WillieJ...
I am passionate about saving America for my GREAT grand children. I am passionate about keeping communism from getting into our government. It is now too close for comfort.... - onAmericans are a free people. Free people do not have to give anything to anyone. Helping widows, orphans and disabled people is done using Free Will with help from our Republic and churches. As free people, we take care of ourselves. Socialism and communism is about seizing property from free people. bySassiebrat67...
You stated The definition of America I was raised to believe in. Thank you for reminding us all the core values of our Republic
More than fireworks. More than history lessons. More than politics, this is what Independence Day means to me, an abundance of flag waving, because symbols are a powerful presence.... - onReality seems less real to me these days. How have we as a society allowed so few to have so much and so many to have nothing? I am 61. I am truly failing in every aspect. My health. My relationships. My finances. My sanity. Every moment is a struggle. I am suffering. Greatly. How did we allow ourselves to make a world that lets a billionaire be guilty of serious crimes against children walk freely freely but send an average joe to jail for unpaid parking tickets? The whole world feels like it has tipped. . Something is shifting.bySassiebrat67...
EXACTLY how I am feeling. I believe gen x was the last generation to live under, be taught of, to KNOW what it means to be moral, have ethics, and to understand what a blessing is was to be AMERICAN.... - pacjac...
