Intro, David, 6/2 Self Projecting Projector
I've had almost a decade of studying Human Design (HD) and Gene Keys (GK) (related, same roots, different methods of practice). I'm starting to get real results.
Luckily, I don't think the point is to get to the finish line, but to continue to unfold into a truer version of myself.
I have to say, when I first encountered HD my brain rejected it, it wasn't anything like the kind of simple typing system I was used to. That body graph with all those numbers, colors and lines, what do they mean?
I happened on GK and found it so much easier to take bite-sized chunks. Now, going back and forth between them I feel like I know how big a bite I can take, and how to digest and integrate what I've taken in.
I have friends who imbibe and embody this information like it was water. I still do better with simple steps.
The biggest thing I've learned is that my reading won't tell me who I am, but how I encounter the world, and the ways in which I'm acting from conditioning (cultural/relational influences) versus design (my essential patterns).
