The high point of my recent life was riding along with Artemis II the way I would have accompanied every second of Apollo 11, had I known Moon launches would suddenly stop. I was nine years-old.

I grew up in an age of heroes. That affected everything. There was no sitting on a fence then, and we have entered such times again.

I am testing the conclusions of a lifetime. The answers to our common issues are in the things we must do to disarm those who would divide us. The solution is not in more emphasis on self-sacrifice for the common good, but in better perceiving ourselves as individuals, and our own ability to determine our own purpose.
