Hey y'all,
This week: What are you actually optimizing your life for?
(the frame of the question is already tough... I don't really want to instrumentalize life, nor "optimize" it, but i'd rather start conversing the get it perfect, which starts to say something of an answer for me...)
Let's explore the gap between what we say we're all about, what we actually do, and why there's a gap at all. What are you actually optimizing for based on the evidence of how you spend your time, money, and attention? Looking at your calendar, bank statements, screen time, your last 50 conversations, what might someone conclude is of ultimate concern for you? Maybe you're just illegible—how would they be wrong? What would they be missing?
Come join the the thread: Live discussion now (Wednesday) normally at 5pm central, but my revealed preferences pushed it an hour to prioritize family...
Lots of love,
Jordan
