have done and still do seasonal, resort type jobs. Most provide housing nominally, usually shared with a roommate. Many skills are needed at these resorts. If you have a good car/truck, it is easier. If you have a rig (RV) of your own it is both cheaper AND easier.... my mom has done a bunch of drainage stuff, you guys should talk. Unfortunatley $10k isn’t that high for good drainage work
