    I am waiting for a permit from the city to move my driveway! I also received a landscaping plan from a permaculturist. I’m guessing it will take me a year or so to get it all done!

    good idea. btw I had a contractor make my whole backyard into a slope going into one drain when we redid the deck before out wedding-celebration-thingy, and it works, but i really wish i’d stuck with my gut and had him also put in some french...

    my mom has done a bunch of drainage stuff, you guys should talk. Unfortunatley $10k isn’t that high for good drainage work

    thank you for this! unfortunately the french drain would be a big pain to put in. the next lowest point on the property is the creek behind the house so it would require a lot of digging....
