It’s super helpful to me to create a structure of rules for myself to obey in the moment and upgrade later if needed. For example, I used to buy way too much clothing at thrift stores because why not it’s so cheap.... heck yeah! I did as well; I really appreciate the space between things, recognizing space as the overwhelmingly what is, even in the seemingly solid objects, and I feel it encourage that (as well as the impulses to fill space, rather than luxuriate in it)....
