The $4.3 trillion question On December 4, 2024, UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot outside the New York Hilton. Within hours, the internet filled with people who were not exactly sad about it.... It seems to me that many many people have tried and are trying to change the US healthcare system… It seems Really hard to do Doesn’t seem to me that this drastic action will make a significant positive difference.... The public has had such an interesting response to this assassination! And even I seem to be conflicted. I feel sad that Luigi, or whoever the murderer turns out to be, felt so desperate and unheard that they resorted to assassination....
