I've been actively studying trust for the better part of a decade, but, recently, as I have been digging through the published research, most of the thinking about who to trust becomes a conversation about what to trust.... The Open Question April 1: How do you decide what to trust?

@Mark Burns I really appreciate that you not only set some potential problems, but also suggested ways to address them. We are with you on the need to empirically verify the core claims, and have been working on that—just put this article up yesterday which is relevant (though... There's another layer here too that I'm excited about because I feel UpTrust can help facilitate us into a better direction, and that's that the AI training data is the average of the internet.... Good call Blake—as the platform content grows, the trust scores by topic take care of the range of influence for us—if we aren’t very trustable on a topic, we won’t get that much traction, and we can safely riff and have fun without worry of being cancelled or whatever....
