I think you raise some interesting questions, bcook, and I agree that we shouldn't assume the world's major powers are always working against one another just because their governments publicly disagree. If it was up to me, I would take all of the ships with Iranian oil on them and tie them up at Kharg island in one big line and keep them there until we have the dust and the straight open.
