What outcome do you hope for? I was on a call for the last hour talking with a friend about supporting a vision he has.

At the end of the call, he asked "what are you hoping to get out of this?"

I found the question really hard to answer in a way that makes any sense at all.

My answer to the questions comes in feelings, images, and body sensations. I see a bowl overflowing, I feel a magnetic pull, I experience a sense of duty, I follow synchronicities, I release and this is what came to me. One of my purposes in this life is to bring people together, especially really smart people. I don't have a goal, and if I did, I am sure it would change. I want to be of service to a vision of the best future possible.

I'm after the experience. My vision will fill out along the way.

When I can't frame the answer in an intelligible way, it causes doubt- maybe this isn't right? Maybe my intuition would have a clearer answer if this were the right path. Maybe I'm cutoff from what outcomes I hope for and need to work on getting more in touch with my desires. Am I too scared to name a desired outcome for fear of being letdown if it doesn't come true?

But I want to try on that the question may just be the wrong question for me. Or that my answer to the question isn't going to sound like what I've heard from other people.

Sharing here, and open to others experience of answering this question. How do you know what you want?

And if you know me, happy to hear your perspective on my specific psychology or what you think is going on 🤔

How y'all feeling about it now? I got to see the final episode of Season 5 in the theater here in Austin, and I freakin' loved it! Overall I enjoyed S5 but thought it was a little weak—too focused on plot, and not enough on characters—until the end of the season....

Introduction 💜. Hey all! I'm not exactly sure what I just walked in on but let's figure it out together?

Thought I would start by introducing myself. My name is Stacie but I go by SusieQ across many corners of the internet. I am a reseller by trade, flipping vintage toys ephemera jewelry and clothes on various platforms.

But my passion is for television. I co-host a podcast about various TV shows, and sometimes movies. We are Korman Productions Deep Dive TV Podcast and can be found primarily on the KORMAN PRODUCTIONS YT channel, although our audio only files can be found on various pod platforms.

We are getting ready to Deep Dive in Paradise season 2 that starts Feb 23rd on Hulu and awaiting From season 4 that will start Apr 19th on MGM+. Also this year will be Sullivan's Crossing season 4, The Institute season 2, and a new show You're Killing Me which stars Brooke Shields.

In edition we are looking back on Under the Dome and continuing coverage on our 1st love Quantum Leap, as well as misc episodes of classic television and holiday special edition podcasts.

My co-host Dave and I would love to network with anyone in a similar space, cast and crew, and fandom of such shows.

    Come say hi 😉

I'm excited! We don't have screeners for that one like we do a lot of other series we cover, so I haven't seen them yet. Three episodes Feb 23rd! Our podcasts on those 3 will come out during the week....

Have precious metals reached their top? The meteoric climb in precious metals has experienced a significant pullback in the last 24 hours.  First, one wonders what caused this event, and secondly, do we believe this is a much needed correction, or a pause in a market that will continue to climb?

Is the movie theater experience dead? As someone who grew up going to movies multiple times a week - I'm starting to worry that the end is nigh.  I'm aware many have said movies are dead at different times over the past 30 years - and they've all been wrong... but even though I pay a monthly fee for a movie pass that allows me to see multiple movies a week - I find myself unwilling to leave the house.

Part of this is the amount of ads before the film - part is the the number of people who think the movie theater is their living room and proceed to talk through the film - part is the amount of people who are on their phones while the film is going...

As someone who loves movies, who has made movies and TV all of my adult life - I'm just wondering if the communal experience of sitting together and laughing, crying, screaming and enjoying a great film is something that is quickly becoming a thing of the past.

    I wonder....

Do you still go to the movies?  Do you enjoy it?

    If not...

    Why not?

After spending some time as a radio DJ, I got my fill of "middle of the road" pop music. Now I creep back once and a while to hear some 80's songs. On my Valentines Day podcast I mention what I consider the near-perfect "young love" song:  The Hollies "Bus Stop."  (1960's)....

A Vtuber Built on Community, Not Virality. I’m a music artist, VTuber, and radio-style host — and more importantly, I act as a voice and gathering point for a community I call Cyber City Underground. My work lives at the intersection of music, conversation, and community: original songs, live radio-style streams, and spaces built around listening, dialogue, and shared humanity.

A core part of what I do is creating places where people can slow down, talk honestly, and feel connected — not optimized, not farmed, not reduced to engagement metrics. Through my music and my live conversations, I’ve heard the same sentiment echoed again and again: the current internet feels fragmented, hostile, and engineered to divide.

That’s why seeing UpTrust launch genuinely means a lot to me.

A platform that puts trust, dialogue, and human connection at the center aligns deeply with the values I’ve been building toward — resisting algorithm-driven outrage and instead amplifying voices, nuance, and real conversation. This feels like the kind of space where creators and communities can show up as people, not products.

I’m here because I believe in a better internet — one where trust matters more than virality, and where communities are built through intention rather than manipulation. I’m excited to be part of this early wave and to contribute however makes sense as things grow.

Glad to be here — and hopeful for what this can become.

If you think my bicycle metaphors are too much ... If you've ever heard me on a rant, you may know that I can go down a few rabbit trails when trying to make some obscure point through metaphors. I just posted about  language being a reverse bicycle, as one example (interesting to me, but we'll see if anyone else agrees).

But sometimes I even shake my head at myself. Today is one of those days.

You may have seen this perspective taking meme that is one of my favorites:

and of course, I like to take this to another level, so here is the version I like better:

And of course, one can extrude this example even further by moving into another dimension. And someone did by challenging AI to navigator a 4D universe: https://youtu.be/1BDYSxsVMAE?si=jj0PWlJ8mFewhmQg

I'll never be able to use this as a metaphor to explain anything except why it is that nobody likes my metaphors. You don't even have to understand this video fully, but watch it to see if it tickles your brain. It tickled mine.

But then, I live in the Meta-Phorth Dimension.

Anyone watching the Pluribus TV show?

Only saw the first two episodes, will keep it spoiler-free.

I was really wowed by the pilot that it felt like I was watching an entirely new experience that's never been done before. It feels like a horror zombie film but subverts itself.

I think the show is a fascinating look at individualism vs collectivism. Freedom vs sacrificing some self autonomy for more collective well being. Centralization of power vs decentralized units?

It's setup that the protagonist isn't really a likeable character yet at the same time you are on their side.

There's an innate sense that losing free will is bad but the show makes you really question why.
