There are so many things to discuss; proving yet again the complexities and paradoxes that make us Human. As a fellow advocate, I would say the things we need to talk about, the things we care about, need more of our focus.... Government Raises Rents On Its Own Buildings While Freezing Private Ones
The government owns buildings like Tracy Towers where the math does not work either and they are raising rents there while freezing them on private places. That shows the real game.... WTH?? Construction costs for apartments in the US are over $200/SF, nearly TWICE that of the average single family home?
Photo below - can you think of any reason modest housing like this should cost nearly twice as much to build (per square foot) than traditional single-family homes?...
