also boundaries tend to be the most intimate places. Like when someone touches your skin softly (doesn’t have to be sexual, could be a cat for example) it often feels more intimate than a hard push.... - OtterpopMT...
If a cat clearly prefers your warmth but disappears the moment you need comfort, do you think love has to be equal to be real?
No. I think in most relationships it is common, at different times, for one party to give or take more than the other party.... - onIf a cat clearly prefers your warmth but disappears the moment you need comfort, do you think love has to be equal to be real?by
Cat's have no equals unless its forced upon them. And even that doesn't count. Cats are odd and comical. My cat will love up on me for a few minutes and then will suddenly look at me like I am the enemy. Then the "Stranger Danger" attitude emerges.... 🤣🪽

I'm not sure yet the implications of recognizing instead that "all vertebrates possess the same basic brain regions, here divided into the forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain;" in some ways it seems like a nuance, but in other ways I think it'll shift how I see things and talk... First train the part of you that wants to punish. Then you can train the dog owner how to influence without punishing. I love dog training. It brings me so much clarity cuz I have to be real real tired or worn down to be mad at a dog. So rarely happens.... Also, we’ll be able to hang out with kangaroos and wallabies just by being at the zoo– they let you feed them.
Yeah! And something about holding the ideals of a gazelle… when I’m there… I turn my nose up at the raccoon. What’s strange is how different social circles or cultural influences or even maybe just my hormonal cycle may make the ideals of the raccoon and the ideals of the gazelle... - Fooljeff...
The dog clearly needs to take responsibility and handle the cleanup himself.
