I was talking to my partner about what would trigger me to feel righteous in my shaming another person, and animal abuse was the thing I brought up! 

Open a huge sanctuary for dogs and horses!

Not sure I'd want to know what an animal was thinking just before it was killed to put meat on my table.

I believe how good or bad any animal is depends on how they are raised- period. It has nothing to do with breed.
