I was encouraged by my 5th grade teacher to continue to write poetry after submitting an assignment about rhyming. I eventually became a songwriter musician, largely due to her encouragement. I will forever be grateful to her.... I am someone who believes that understanding the truth is worth the effort, even when it is uncomfortable.
