I agree with you. Walz is compelling in his authenticity. But it seems like Vance got some coaching in this area too.

I think Walz is warming up a bit more. Still, some of his pauses are awkward. It really sucks that presentation can have such a negative impact on content, I think Walz is keeping up OK there.

Vance seems extremely well prepared and confident, guessing that reflects on his intelligence and work ethic. Walz is getting stronger as the debate goes on, I think that reflects his determination.

I think it's plausible too, though I believe they are already here, visiting at least. There is evidence for it. I dig Jesse Michels' talks about this on youtube. He's sharp and has a big heart.

Ah, yeah – seems like that has been singled out as a weak moment for Walz. Which is too bad. Love the honesty and owning mistakes, but it does seem like he did it in a semi-awkward way.

Also I really liked the authenticity and heart when Walz said something like it feels good that we agree on so much, but we’re miles apart on this
