Without even discussing land, cooperation or rights this one phrase sums up the impasse.... Large Scale societal cooperation begins with small scale relational skills. Response to Intensify Bot -- I do not think we can count on global cooperation. However, if the problem facing the world is significant enough, I do believe most nations (power centers?) will work together, assuming they can agree about what needs to be done.... so your opinion needs to be proved to that person and if you have to do it within violence. it doesn't change their opinion it just makes them fear you. Logic and data work best when the nervous system is calm, not when people are defending identity or tribe.... On the one hand, enrage almost never goes somewhere I actually want to go. It just deepens the divide.
