I feel as if we as a country, and a "United" people, have been in a free fall since 2016 and recent years before. I have never seen public opinion become so weaponized as it has been over these past years.... That is a bunch of rubbish in my opinion. It's been almost 18 months since we engaged on this topic. I'm back on UpTrusting because I love the idea and have been thinking that the problem of Trust that this platform intends to address is one of the biggest issues we have.... Before WhatsApp users proliferated, India was a much more tolerant society and we had friends who often didn’t agree with our politics but no one cared much about it. Today, it’s a sharp divide and most people have little tolerance for those with divergent political views.... It’s surprising (in a helpful way—learning my biases is one of the things I’m hoping UpTrust will continuously reveal) to hear your opinion that the Dem Party has moved very far right over the years....
