Here's a scenario... I say something. It could be anything but for the sake of argument, "I hope Trump runs for a third term." People in hearing range are heard to ask (examples): - What do you mean by that? - Umm, have you read the Constitution? - Why?... In any case, I’m down to make a qualified version of your claim: […] Uptrusted. Also, a thing we settled out-of-band but I think is worth having in the thread: You can read my replies as assuming that Jordan is trying to convince me of something, and that I’m refuting his... Pretty metal, gotta hand it to y'all. I never suspected a lack of intentionality here. But/and the impact remains. When I don't know who I'm interacting with, I'd actually rather not.... Oh yeah, that definitely resonates more. It actually feels like another #deeptake :) I think I'm also getting from you that there's some value for you in honesty around reputation, such that one actually can rely on it within the system.... is free speech a constitutional law concept? I'm ignorant on these matters, maybe bc I'm from the USA, I really thought it was just a common idea. I agree (sic). Dis/agreement is a good general framing. Coherence and alignment are high-level strategies for dealing with the proliferating effects of fragmentation....
