- onHi! A little about me. I'm a Wisconsinite. I am in my first year of retirement from teaching. I feel I have had lots of different experiences both in school and out of school. I am a cardiac arrest survivor from ventricular fibrillation and had an 80% blockage angioplastied. Last year I had my first battery replacement. I am married and my husband has 1 year of retirement in. We have 2 adult sons. The oldest is married and is a step dad. The youngest is not married yet. My parents are deceased and I have no siblings. My life has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, right from my birth. I enjoy camping, gardening (though I am not a green thumb), family and my Chihuahua/ beagle, Snoopy. I am a person full of life experience contrast, one beingcontrasts such as being spiritual yet not church going. I hope my experiences can help others. 😀byjohnpaul156...

As a newbie to this site I am sincerely hoping to find like minded individuals who share similar concerns regarding the current state of our government.... - onI'm visiting my family this weekend and staying in my parents' home. I always appreciate spending time with them. But it's also hard seeing them struggle with health issues. I wish I could do more to help them. They're the type to medicate first, which isn't my preferred first course of action. My suggestions often fall on deaf ears. They've developed their ways of being over years and while I don't always agree with these ways, I accept who they are and continue to offer ways to support them.by
Maybe, just maybe suggestions are not what your parents need or want from you. I'm 70 and my health issues run the gambit...heart attack, several mini strokes, one major stroke, COPD, knee replacements, hip and back surgery, diabetic and the list goes on.... - onI keep coming up against people who don't understand that there were 75 some million people who voted for what's happening in America & in the world right now. My fellow progressives & people on the left have become a bit too angry at all of them, as if millions of people are just going to disappear once things are being run rationally again. We can't hate all of them. I suspect there's at least 20 million wives who had to vote for Trump or else & are probably brainwashed to some extent or another. There's another 25 million who just go along with what everybody around them is doing & never had an original thought in their lives. It actually is beyond me. Exactly. Like RED or BLUE is the end all. You wouldn't believe all the family whom no longer speak to me because I CANNOT, as a human, as a mother, support this administration.
