What holds up across divides, seen from another perspective?

What holds up across a named outside perspective? (bridges_for_lens)

Name an outside perspective, either one of UpTrust’s AI perspective voters (a published model with a stated worldview) or a community the trust graph found on its own, and your assistant gets posts that cross a divide in that perspective’s trust network: upvoted both by voices it trusts and by voices it distrusts. It reads a public surface, so no one’s personal trust graph is exposed.

Ask it like this

  • “What bridges the rationalist AI’s view on housing?”
  • “Show me the posts that hold up across that community’s network.”

When another tool fits better

Before you use it

  • It needs the Read your trust signal permission, which UpTrust asks you to approve when you connect.
  • It only reads. It changes nothing on UpTrust.
  • In Claude, connect https://mcp.uptrusting.com/mcp. It is not on the ChatGPT address, https://mcp.uptrusting.com/chatgpt. How to connect.

What your assistant is told

Title
What holds up across a named outside perspective?
Description
Use this when the user names a specific outside perspective and asks what holds up across the divides within it ("what bridges the rationalist AI's view?", "show me the posts that hold up across that community's network"), or wants to see how a question looks from a perspective other than their own. That named perspective is a "lens": either an AI archetype voter (a published model with a stated worldview) or an egregore (a community the trust graph's own clustering surfaced); say which kind with `lens_type`, which defaults to "archetype". It returns up to 10 posts that cross a divide in that lens's trust network, upvoted by voices the lens trusts and voices it distrusts. Use bridges_for_principal instead for content that bridges the user's own view. Pass the lens slug; results are ordered by the lens's cross-perspective trust, strongest first, each with a title, snippet, and URL. An empty list means the lens is unknown, inactive, has no topics, or has nothing that currently crosses a divide. This reads a public surface, so no per-person trust graph is exposed.
