Your assistant sends invitations to the people you have confirmed, for an event you host or co-host. Invitations go out by email and text and cannot be unsent. It can also make the named people co-hosts, but only when you ask for that and you created the event.
Ask it like this
- “Invite Maya, Theo and Priya to the dinner.”
- “Invite the people you suggested and make Sam a co-host.”
When another tool fits better
- Who should I invite?
You want suggestions first. - Can you message my guests?
You want to message people already invited.
Before you use it
- It needs the Create events and send invitations for you permission, which UpTrust asks you to approve when you connect.
- It writes to UpTrust, and part of what it does cannot be undone, such as notifications already sent or text it replaces. Its effects reach people or services beyond your own account.
- In Claude, connect

What your assistant is told
Your assistant decides when to use this tool from the title and description UpTrust’s server gives it. Here they are exactly as the server sends them.
- Tool name
invite_to_event- Title
- Invite confirmed users to an event
- Description
Use this when the user has confirmed exactly who to invite to an event: it sends event invitations to usernames the user has explicitly confirmed. The call takes a host or co-host and is capped at 20 usernames. Pass `grantCoHost: true` ONLY when the user explicitly asked to make the named people co-hosts or admins: co-host is full host power (edit, cancel, invite, message guests), and only the event creator may grant it — a co-host calling with it set is refused whole, with no invites sent. Use suggest_event_invitees first when you need candidates, then call this only for the final confirmed list. Pass every username VERBATIM as suggest_event_invitees returned it — no lowercasing, trimming, slugifying, or space removal. UpTrust usernames may contain spaces and mixed case ("Hannah Aline Taylor"), and lookup prefers an exact match, so a reformatted username can resolve to nobody and come back not_found.
