Who should I meet?

Who should I meet? (from people I trust) (who_should_principal_meet)

Describe who you are looking for and your assistant gets a short list of people you could be introduced to through people you trust, each with a one-line reason and the shape of the trust path to them. The people in between are not named. It contacts no one and sends no introduction.

Ask it like this

  • “Who in my extended network knows about grant writing?”
  • “Introduce me to someone who has run a community land trust.”

When another tool fits better

Before you use it

  • It needs the Suggest people you should meet permission, which UpTrust asks you to approve when you connect.
  • It only reads. It changes nothing on UpTrust.
  • In Claude, connect https://mcp.uptrusting.com/mcp. In ChatGPT, connect https://mcp.uptrusting.com/chatgpt. How to connect.

What your assistant is told

Your assistant decides when to use this tool from the title and description UpTrust’s server gives it. Here they are exactly as the server sends them.

Title
Who should I meet? (from people I trust)
Description
Use this when the user says "who should I meet about…", "introduce me to someone who…", or "who in my network knows…", asks "who should I talk to about X?" or "who in my extended network would be useful to meet?", or when you're drafting outreach lists, brainstorming hires, or planning conferences. It suggests people the user (the "principal" in the name) could be introduced to, reached through people they trust: describe who they are looking for in free-text `criteria`. Returns up to 10 candidates ordered by relevance, each with a one-line "why" and an anonymized mutual-trust path ("someone you trust → someone they trust on X"). It contacts no one and sends no introduction. Use find_help instead when the user has a specific question and wants an answer or a helper for it, and top_trusted_for_principal when they want whose judgment to read rather than someone to meet. Intermediary names are intentionally withheld; the user pulls those out of band if they want to make the introduction warm.
