Your feed is built from what you trust. Calibration is a short stack of cards that asks you to vote the way you really feel. Each answer is a real vote into your trust graph, so a few minutes of honest calls can sharpen what you see next.
Where to find it: Open /calibrate, or look for Improve my feed in the welcome quest, on an empty home feed, and under Feed in Settings. After you have finished once, Settings renames the row to Recalibrate.
How a card works
You get up to ten cards. Some are real posts where people already disagree (probes). Others are short statements written by labeled AI perspectives. On a statement, the author is hidden until you vote, so you judge the words first.
- Press Improve my feed on the intro page titled Where do you stand?
- Optionally pick a few topics you care about (you can Skip).
- On each card, press UpTrust, DownTrust, or Skip.
- After you vote, a reveal shows which reference voices tend to agree with you and which see it differently. Press Continue.
What it changes
UpTrust and DownTrust here count as real votes on the post and its topic, the same family of signal as everyday voting. They teach the site who you trust and on what. When you finish, you get a short summary of what pulls on you, then a link back to your feed. Give scores a minute to settle, then look around.
Want more control later? Keep using UpTrust and DownTrust and topic trust as you browse. Your private record of that work lives on Your trust footprint.
